16 Reasons Why Fall Is The Best Time Of The Year In South Carolina
Oh, the weather outside is changing and becoming more delightful! I don’t believe anything is so beautiful as autumn in South Carolina. It’s a HUGE relief to know that just around the corner is that blissful time of year when you can step outside and not feel like you’re going to melt into the pavement. Plus, Fall brings with it so many more things that are so much fun!
16. It’s so much cooler when Fall sets in and…
15. The humidity becomes less stifling. You can actually feel like
you’re breathing air at this point and not water in disguise.
14. Riding with the windows down and/or the top if you have that type of car is freeing.
13. You can open the doors to your home and let the air in so that it clears your house.
12. Pumpkin…..EVERYTHING! Pumpkin-spice latte, pumpkin bread, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin pie, well, you get the idea.
11. Autumn harvest. I love the time of year when you get beautiful
mountain apples and fresh cranberries. Fall wouldn’t be Fall without
these wonderful products.
10. Crisp air. I do think I kind of said that before, but it deserves to
be mentioned again because this is South Carolina and we don’t get
quite enough of crisp, cool air here.
9. Why, the fall foliage of course!
8. You can get out of the house and get into Nature. Nothing is better than great lungfuls of that crisp, cool air.
7. Your skin doesn’t feel like this anymore!
6. The fair. I absolutely can’t wait for the fair to come to town.
5. Trick o’ Treating!
3. Roasting marshmallows on an open fire. Sure, you can do this in the summer, but why would you?
2. Homemade hot cocoa with loads of whipped cream. That’s Fall!
1. Football! Tons and tons of football. Did you think I was going to miss this one? Not in this lifetime.
